I love helping e-commerce brands, hustling entrepreneurs, and innovative startups build awesome shops and software that actually convert.
I’m a Full Stack Developer passionate about building high-converting online shops and SaaS apps that solve real problems and turn visits into revenue.
Whether you're planning an online store or the next big SaaS – I can help turn your ideas into working, conversion-focused code.
Let's talkFully custom Shopify theme tailored to VISIO’s bold, minimalist brand identity. The shop combines clean aesthetics with conversion-focused UX: sticky add-to-cart buttons, smart product page layouts, and a mobile experience that feels fast and intuitive. I've also set up Klaviyo automation flows for abandoned carts, post-purchase emails, and product drops – turning first-time visitors into loyal customers.
Creating Facebook ads takes time – especially when using Meta’s complex ad manager. Designing visuals, writing copy, setting everything up – it’s a lot for small businesses. Together with Clickmarketing, me and my team built a SaaS platform that offers ready-to-use ad templates – so local businesses can launch Facebook ads in minutes, without needing marketing expertise.
TENTE is a global manufacturer of wheels and castors for the medical, industrial, and logistics sectors – with over 100 years of history and subsidiaries in more than 30 countries. Me and my team supported the company in migrating their legacy system to Shopware 6, including a fully custom theme tailored to their brand identity. Additionally, we developed a product configurator plugin to handle TENTE’s extensive product variations – ensuring scalability, better usability, and a modern code base for future growth.
Whether you need a reliable developer, fresh eyes on your idea, or just want to bounce something off – I'm all ears.
Let's talkI grew up in Germany and started coding at 16 by building a Super Mario clone from scratch – and I’ve been hooked ever since. Today, I’m traveling the world while working remotely. I love discovering new cultures, hiking through nature, and reading books that open up new perspectives. Whether I’m working from a beach café in Sydney, a skyscraper office in San Francisco, or a quiet village in rural Italy – I bring focus, curiosity, and care to every project I take on.
I became a freelancer because I wanted more freedom – to choose meaningful projects and work in a way I’m proud of. After working in several agencies, I often felt frustrated with slow processes and results that didn’t live up to their promise. Now, I collaborate directly with my clients, move efficiently, and build solutions that truly work – without the typical agency overhead.
“Phillip turned our designs into exactly what we had in mind for our Shopify store.”
We had worked with other agencies before, and it was always a struggle—missed deadlines, incomplete work, and endless headaches. With Phillip and his team, it was completely different. It feels great to finally have a partner we can rely on.
“Our products are now reaching customers around the world.”
Expanding into international markets seemed like an overwhelming task, but Phillip took care of everything – Tax rules, shipping settings, multilingual features—and made sure everything worked seamlessly.
“Even on a Sunday night, I’ve gotten answers to urgent questions within minutes.”
Phillip is transparent, honest, and genuinely cares about the success of our shop. It feels like he treats it as his own. That kind of dedication and reliability is rare, and it gives me peace of mind knowing our shop is in the best hands.
Unclear pricing, surprise invoices, and sneaky lock-in contracts are common. You often end up paying for agency overhead – project managers, meetings, and middlemen you never asked for.
Many deliver something that looks nice – but forget the bigger picture. No thought given to conversion tactics like upsells, cross-sells, or feature upgrades.
Getting ghosted by freelancers. Endless email chains with outdated info. Agencies loop in 5 people just to answer one question – if they respond at all.
And the worst part is, you're paying for all that unnecessary agency overhead.
No personal connection, no long-term thinking.
No surprises. You get clear quotes upfront, no hidden fees, and zero lock-in contracts. You’re only paying for what actually moves your project forward – not for bloated agency overhead.
I’m not a passive order-taker – I actively suggest ideas to boost your conversions. Everything’s shaped to support your business goals.
You get a dedicated Slack channel – just for your project. No delays, no gatekeepers. Share ideas, feedback, or files in real time – like it’s 2025.
Feature requests can be submitted directly in Slack. You’ll also get a personal task board to track progress. Instead of long meetings, I share short Loom videos to explain new features, updates, or ideas—saving you time without losing context.
When your shop or SaaS succeeds, so do I. That’s why I treat every project with the same care and dedication as if it were my own—because long-term success benefits both of us.
I've been coding since I was 16 and have been working as a developer for over 8 years—5 of those as a full-time freelancer. Over the years, I've specialized in building custom e-commerce platforms and SaaS applications that are fast, scalable, and conversion-focused.
Yes. This is not a side hustle—it’s my full-time business.
It depends on the size and complexity of your project. For larger projects, I collaborate with trusted specialists in Tech, UX/UI design and conversion optimization to deliver the best possible results.
If you’re just looking for the cheapest option, I might not be the right fit. I take the time needed to build something that actually works. Projects start at $5,000 USD. The final price depends on your specific needs, which we’ll define together. I usually offer interactive quotes where you can select between different options based on your goals and budget.
Absolutely. Trust is something you earn. If you're unsure, we can start with a smaller task so you can get a feel for how I work and what it’s like to collaborate with me.
For larger projects, I usually work on a fixed price that includes planning, development, QA, and bug fixing if needed. For smaller tasks or ongoing work, I charge an hourly rate of $100 USD.
Yes, installment plans are possible—even over a longer period (up to 24 months in some cases). It depends on the size and duration of the project.
Just send me a message via the contact form or email me at hello@iamphillip.dev. It helps if you can answer a few short questions: What do you want to build (SaaS, shop, feature, etc.)? Is there an existing codebase or are we starting from scratch? What's your timeline? What’s most important to you—speed, budget, quality, flexibility?
